In most cases our job consists of the following:

New product developement and Industrial Design	(ID -including marketing research, concept development, artistic and behavioral drawings, 3D modelling and photo realistic rendering, color, material and texture selection)
Electrical Engineering	(EE - including schematics, PCB design, BOM optimization, testing and measuring)
Mechanical Engineering	(ME - including 3D modeling, 2D drawings development, tolerance control and structural analysis)
Prototyping	(including manufacturing and assembling of the housing parts, PCBs, FPCs, keypads (silicone rubber, plastic domes, metal domes, FIP, IMD and others) for all the stages from dummy samples to working (pre-TR) prototypes)
Software Engineering	(SE - including low level software development, OS, applications software, drivers, content etc.)
Design For Manufacturing	(DFM - including vendor and supplier arrangement, technical support, technological improvements, testing and certifications)
Production Support	(PS - including test equipment and test software development, technical support for the production process, post sales support)
